Who we are

Ansar Club is a pre-launch connection platform designed to help people in the global Muslim community find relevant people, skills, services and opportunities. This policy explains how Ansar Club handles personal information when you visit ansar.club, create an account or submit a profile.

Information we collect

We may collect the following information:

• Account information: your name, email address and, if supplied by your sign-in provider, profile image.
• Profile information: country, city, languages, profile type, what you offer, what you need and links you choose to provide.
• Optional contact information: a messaging handle, phone number or additional email that you choose to submit.
• Technical information needed for security, account operation and consented analytics, such as session identifiers, IP address, browser information, page interactions and timestamps.
• Messages or requests you send to us through our official support and social channels.

Google account data

If you continue with Google, Ansar Club requests only the basic information required to create and identify your account: your email address, name and profile image where available. We use this information to authenticate you, prevent duplicate accounts and display your account details to you.

Ansar Club does not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, calendar or other Google content. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising or use it to train general-purpose artificial intelligence models. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

How we use information

• To create and secure your account and maintain your signed-in session.
• To receive, organise and update your pre-launch profile.
• To identify potentially relevant connections when matching features become available.
• To operate, protect, troubleshoot and improve Ansar Club.
• To communicate about your account, launch updates, safety or legal matters.
• To comply with applicable law and enforce our Terms of Service.

Privacy by default

Your email address and additional contact information are not placed in a public directory. During pre-launch, submitted profiles are accessible only to authorised Ansar Club administrators. As the product develops, we intend to let users decide whether to accept a connection and move a conversation to a direct messenger before personal contact information is exchanged. We do not promise that information you voluntarily share with another user can remain private after you share it.

Legal bases

Where UK or European data-protection law applies, we process information as necessary to provide the service you request, to take steps before entering a contract, to pursue legitimate interests such as account security and product improvement, with your consent where required, and to comply with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing.

Sharing and service providers

We may share information with providers that help us operate authentication, hosting, databases, security, transactional email, analytics, communications and support. Google and Apple process information under their own privacy policies when you choose their sign-in services. Resend delivers account confirmation and password-reset emails. Where you allow analytics, Google Analytics and Yandex Metrica process technical usage information under their respective privacy terms. Providers may use information only to perform services for us, subject to their contractual and legal obligations.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the platform, or as part of a business reorganisation. We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not currently use personal information for behavioural advertising.

Cookies and analytics

Ansar Club uses strictly necessary cookies or similar storage to keep accounts signed in and protect authentication flows. With your permission, we also use Google Analytics and Yandex Metrica to measure visits and interactions, including click maps and session replay where available. These optional tools are not loaded until you select Allow analytics. You can reopen Privacy settings on the website and change your choice. We do not use analytics data to expose private profile or contact information, and we do not currently set advertising cookies.

Retention and security

We keep account and profile information only for as long as it is reasonably needed to provide Ansar Club, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and protect the service. We may retain limited records after deletion where the law requires it or where necessary to prevent fraud or abuse.

We use administrative, technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the information we hold. No online system can guarantee absolute security, so please avoid submitting confidential information that the profile does not ask for.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your information, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent and complain to a data-protection authority. You can also revoke Ansar Club's Google access from your Google Account settings.

To request account or profile deletion, contact us through the official @muslim_internet Telegram, Instagram or X account linked on ansar.club. Include the email connected to your account; we may ask you to verify ownership before completing the request.

International processing and changes

Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

We may update this policy as Ansar Club develops. We will publish the revised version here and change the date above. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or our official channels.
